The problem we started with

Minted Tenders started with a simple, frustrating problem: finding public sector contracts in the UK is far harder than it should be.

When our founder set out to win government work for another business, the reality hit quickly. Opportunities were scattered across a dozen different portals — Contracts Finder, Find a Tender, Sell2Wales, Public Contracts Scotland, and countless individual council and NHS sites. Each had its own clunky search. New contracts appeared daily. Deadlines were tight. And every single notice came wrapped in a dense, 50-to-200-page document that took hours to understand.

Miss the right tender by a day, and the opportunity was gone. There was no second chance.

We looked for a tool that would pull everything into one place, tell us what mattered, and warn us before deadlines passed. The few that existed were expensive, dated, and built for large enterprises — not for the small and growing businesses who arguably need the help most.

So we built our own. And then we realised thousands of other businesses needed exactly the same thing.

We don't process applications, and we're not affiliated with any government agency. The actual bidding always happens on the official government portals. What we do is make sure you find the right opportunities, understand them quickly, and act before your competitors.

Minted Tenders is a product of Minted Union, run by Paurav, a founder based in South Wales with a track record of building practical, useful digital tools. We're a small, independent team that ships fast and listens closely to the businesses we serve.

We believe finding public sector work shouldn't require a full-time researcher or an enterprise budget. Whether you're a one-person consultancy, a growing services firm, or a bid writer juggling multiple clients, Minted Tenders is built to give you an edge.

Where we're headed

We launched covering the United Kingdom and United States — two of the largest public procurement markets in the world. We're building toward broader coverage across Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the EU, one market at a time.
