1. Who we are

2. What Minted Tenders is — and is not

Minted Tenders is a discovery and intelligence tool. We aggregate publicly available tender and grant notices from official government data sources, organise them, summarise them using AI, and alert you to relevant opportunities.

Important:

• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government agency or public body.
• We do not process, submit, or manage applications or bids on your behalf. All applications are made directly on the official government portal.
• We do not guarantee that you will win any contract or grant, or that any opportunity listed is suitable for your business.
• The information we provide is for general guidance only. Always verify details against the official notice before acting.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for providing accurate registration information, keeping your login credentials secure, and all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4. Subscriptions, payments and trials

• Plans: We offer free and paid subscription tiers as described on our Pricing page.
• Billing: Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• Price changes: We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price increase affecting your subscription.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. Contact us if you believe you are entitled to a refund.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Scrape, copy, resell, or redistribute our data, summaries, or content without our written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Service
• Use automated systems to place unreasonable load on our infrastructure
• Share your account credentials with others (unless your plan explicitly permits multiple users)

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

6. Data accuracy and sources

We source data from official government portals. While we work hard to keep our data accurate:

• We cannot guarantee that all notices are complete, accurate, or up to date
• Government sources may contain errors or delays outside our control
• AI-generated summaries are provided for convenience and may contain errors

Always check the official notice for definitive information before submitting any bid or application.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, AI summaries, and original content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. The underlying tender and grant notices are public information sourced from government bodies. You may use our content for your own business purposes but may not resell or redistribute it. The Minted Tenders and Minted Union names and logos are our trademarks and may not be used without permission.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from downtime or service interruptions.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost contracts, or missed opportunities
• We are not liable for any decision you make based on information provided through the Service
• Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that harms us or others. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be notified to you by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
